Welcome to Idan Barn Suites and Cafe (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking a room or using our website www.idanbarnsuites.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Bookings & Payments
- All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of full or partial payment as specified at the time of booking.
- We accept major debit and credit cards. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge your card for the booking amount and any applicable fees.
- All rates are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and USD and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- Flexible Rate Bookings: Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the check-in date will be fully refunded.
- Late Cancellations (less than 48 hours before check-in): No refund will be issued.
- Non-Refundable Bookings: These discounted bookings are not eligible for cancellation, refund, or date changes.
- No-shows and early check-outs are treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable.
3. Modifications
- Booking changes (such as date adjustments or guest name updates) must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and any applicable price differences.
- We reserve the right to decline modifications during peak periods or within 72 hours of check-in.
4. Card Use & Payment Security
- All card payments are processed securely through a certified third-party payment gateway. We do not store full card details on our systems.
- We reserve the right to cancel any booking associated with a declined or disputed payment, including cases of suspected fraud or chargebacks.
5. Guest Conduct & Property Rules
- Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and comply with property rules at all times.
- We reserve the right to cancel or terminate a stay, without refund, for any guest causing disturbance, damage, or violating local laws or house policies.
6. Liability Disclaimer
- Idan Barn Suites and Cafe shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: power outages, water supply issues, weather conditions, acts of nature, or third-party service interruptions.
- Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings during their stay. We are not liable for theft, loss, or damage to guest property.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services or website indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
